Buy Jeep Replacement Belts
Jeep replacement belts and hoses are available from aftermarket manufacturers such as Gates and Goodyear. Before replacing your old belt or hose, compare it to the new one to make sure it is the same length and width.
Some Tips on Jeep Replacement Belts
Replacing the serpentine belt on a Jeep is pretty much the same as it would be in any other car, truck or SUV. Before removing the old belt, check to see whether there is a routing diagram under the hood. The diagram will show you which parts the belt wraps around, and in which order. The sticker could be stuck to the radiator, the sheet metal or to the underside of the hood. If no routing diagram is present, draw a quick sketch to make it easier to thread the new belt.
After releasing the tension in the tensioner by moving it out of position (you'll have to hold it there), carefully remove the old belt from the pulleys. The first one will be the trickiest. After that, they should come off rather easily. Carefully release the tensioner so it slides back into place. When installing the new one, pay close attention to how difficult it is to wrap it around the tensioner. If, with the tensioner disengaged, it is still difficult to move it into position, don't force it. It is probably too short.
